Carmel Convent Higher Primary School

The team at Carmel Convent Higher Primary School gave our PoSH training a big thumbs up—calling it not just informative, but also warm, relevant, and delivered with heart!
From bystander engagement to consent, from the real impact of harassment to celebrating inclusion and religious respect, the session covered all the essentials—and made sure everyone understood their part in a safe, welcoming school.

Teachers and staff loved how the POSH Act came alive with clear examples and practical steps. The spotlight on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) reminded everyone that respect is for all—no matter your role or gender.

By the end, everyone felt more confident spotting trouble, supporting students, and stepping up to make their school a better place.
In short: a powerful, positive session that left the whole team feeling informed, inspired, and ready to foster a culture of respect—where everyone belongs!

The POSH training session was very informative and useful. It helped us understand important topics like bystander engagement, consent, the effects of harassment on students, religious respect and inclusion, and different types of sexual harassment.

The session created awareness about how to identify inappropriate behavior, support others, and build a respectful school environment. It also taught us the importance of speaking up and being responsible.

Overall, it was a meaningful and necessary session that encouraged positive behavior and mutual respect in our school.

I would like to thank the organizers for conducting the POSH orientation session. The session was highly informative and sensitively handled.

It helped me clearly understand the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all, irrespective of their role or gender. The explanation of the POSH Act, the responsibilities of individuals, and the steps to take in case of an incident were very useful.

I also appreciated the focus on inclusion and the DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) framework. It was a good reminder of how everyone plays a role in creating a welcoming and supportive space—especially for students and staff who may feel isolated or vulnerable.

Overall, it was a very relevant and meaningful session. I feel better informed and more aware of how to contribute positively to our workplace and learning environment.

ProCoAn's Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) program has made us understand about the various Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Also to know Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act, 2013.  The program aimed to create a safe and respectful work environment by educating the staff about recognizing, preventing, and addressing sexual harassment. We were also made aware of problems faced by students and how a teacher can help them come out of it. ---Jaya Selvi
